I sat up late last night after a few relaxing red wines, plugged some earphones into my laptop and listened to "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan.  Of course, I did nothing else then but play sweet memories in my head of my little angel in heaven and cry for a while.

And it got me to thinking about something else.  I'm going to concentrate on the Baby Loss section of Keep It Unique Keepsakes as my next plan of action.  I believe there is a growing need for additional resources for the friends and families of these beautiful souls.  Once upon a time, the death of a baby was quite simply hush-hush... a heartbroken mother was forced to hide her grief and just 'get on with it' as if her baby had never happened.  But thankfully times have changed and I'm going to honour not only that, but more importantly, be guided by the love that surrounds me from my firstborn little boy.

Stay tuned.

Thank you Meagan :) I agree with you 100% about having MORE options for the Loss of a young child or infant.I lost my daughter NaKita Faith in 2005 @ the age of 2 1/2 months from S.B.S.(Shaking Baby Syndrome).I purchased the White Bear from huggableurns.com and it is a GREAT comfort to my other children(ages 16&5 now) as well as myself. They are able to dress her up and take her everywhere they go just like she was actually still here. I still cry myself to sleep @ night thinking about her and wanting her back.

Lori, my heart goes out to you on the loss of your precious daughter, NaKita Faith. If you have written her story anywhere, I would love to read it. Yes, the Huggable Urns are just wonderful aren't they? Jayden's Bear sits on a chair in our lounge room, always part of our day-to-day lives. I still cry often too. I wonder will it be like this for the rest of my life - or do the tears eventually dry up? Thinking of you and your little angel.
