Pavonia Coffee House in Everton Hills is holding a fundraiser to help raise awareness for SANDS (Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Support).

In 2006, around the same time we lost our son Jayden, another family struggled through the heartbreaking grief of also losing their baby.  Christine  gave birth to her's and Tony's first daughter, Lily.  She was stillborn.

I didn't know this amazing couple back then - it is only through a close mutual friend (hi Melissa!) that we met later, but in the years that have passed since, we have connected and bonded in a way that only grieving parents can.  Hence the reason I am showing my support for Christine and Tony - not to mention SANDS, as I have also been involved in this fantastic group of people.

So!  Come along to Pavonia Coffee House on Sat 8 Oct 2011 9am-12noon for a few family fun-filled hours!

$1 from every coffee sold will go to SANDS...

Bring your fellas - whether they're into cars or fishing, there will be a special treat for them!
Face Painting for the kiddies (proceeds also going to SANDS)
Live music
Sausage Sizzle....
And mean coffee to boot!
