Today my 20-month old (Lucas) starts daycare!

Mummy has to confess she's rather looking forward to it ;-)  A bit apprehensive about the drop-off, however.  I spent last night labelling everything... well, not everything.   I have it on good advice just to keep certain clothes as 'daycare clothes'.  Same with shoes.  I think I understand the logic in that one already.  Watch this space... I will let you know how the Grown Up boy handles the Big Wide World of realising there are times in life he actually has to do as he is told.

Time to go and attend to another tantrum....

Ok, I'm positively sure this has been questioned many a time before, but...

How come motherhood is not a paid job???  I find myself currently working harder than I've ever worked before!  Job satisfaction pops it's head up every now and then, but generally I wonder if there is any purpose in running myself ragged for my 20 month old toddler and 3 week old newborn?

Incidently, can I let you know I'm now going through the whole reflux thing again with my little one - arrrghh!!  God didn't listen when I was pregnant!   But God bless whoever invented Losec :-)
